Plant-based Proteins From GNC

{This post is brought to you by GNC and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.}

In order to maintain a healthier and well balanced diet, I've been drinking more protein shakes and adding protein to many of my recipes. For many of us, adding protein to our diets can be extremely easy but for those with a vegetarian or vegan diet, it can be slightly challenging. Plant-based proteins can be a great option if you follow a vegetarian or vegan diet or simply want to support lean muscle and total body health. Plant- based proteins just like all other powdered proteins can be added as an ingredient to your favorite recipes you’re already eating at every meal!

GNC SuperFoods Spiru-Meal™ delivers a robust blend of vitamins and minerals typically found in wholesome super foods, protein and other key nutrients necessary for maintaining optimal health and wellness. The premium formula of GNC SuperFoods Spiru-Meal™ is also loaded with 14 grams of protein derived from non-GMO, vegetarian sources such as soy protein, brown rice protein and pea protein, as well as food-based enzymes to support digestive health.

Each serving of GNC SuperFoods Spiru-Meal™ contains spirulina and bee pollen, which provide beneficial vitamins and minerals to support optimal nutrition and health.

Plant-based protein sources include brown rice, pea, hemp and soy, all of which are available at GNC.

Pea Protein

  • Pea protein is a great option for vegetarians and vegans
Soy Protein
  • Soy protein provides essential amino acids our bodies need for growth and repair of muscles.
  • Soy protein contains no cholesterol and very little fat.
  • Soy protein is a good option for people who follow a vegetarian diet.

    Sparkle Like A Boss! {with Giveaway}

    {This is part of a sponsored campaign with Touchstone Crystal. However, all opinions expressed are my own.}

    I love being my own boss. I never saw myself ever becoming a "mompreneur" - mom and entrepreneur. Even though I never imagined myself creating my own brand as a blogger, it doesn't I got to where I am today easily. You learn so much about yourself when you become your own boss and are completely responsible for the way your business turns out. It's not always easy but it's worth it. I never see myself ever going back into the corporate world or a 9-5 again. The best part of creating my own working schedule and working from home is that I can be here for my children while they're still young and need me most. Being my own boss is something I work on everyday and with hard work and dedication I know I can make my 2015 an amazing year!

    Twisted Hair Braid Tutorial

    {This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with JOHNSON’S NO MORE TANGLES and Latina Bloggers Connect.}

    With the Holiday's approaching my daughter and I get many opportunities to dress up and look fabulous with our pretty dresses and fancy hair-do's. During the winter holiday's we celebrate with many family and friend gatherings and dinners so I love dressing my little princess up in anything pretty and shiny for those special occasions.

    Dressing up our little ones to look their best for the holiday events is important, especially when so much family will be around and so many photos will be taken.

    As Thanksgiving and Christmas quickly approach, it’s time to put our aprons and chef hats on and start whipping up some delicious holiday sweets and treats. As well-known chef and host of the Next Great Baker would say, “It’s go time!”

    Whether we are baking traditional dishes or our own creations, it’s always a good idea to brush up on our baking skills and be inspired by new ideas. That’s why we are super excited about Discovery Familia’s new season of EL DESAFIO DE BUDDY LATINOAMERICA, a spinoff of the popular series hosted by well-known chef Buddy Valastro (The Next Great Baker). In the first season of EL DESAF√ćO DE BUDDY LATINOAMERICA, eight contestants from Argentina, Colombia and Mexico meet in the kitchen to demonstrate their pastry skills. Only one finalist will win the big prize of $ 50,000. The winner will be the one baker who overcomes all challenges with character, skill, intelligence and creativity.

    Mexican Pasta Salad #BarillaFiesta

    {This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Weave Made Media® and Barilla®, but all my opinions are my own. #weavemade #BarillaFiesta}

    When you hear the word "Pasta", you most likely think of Italian dishes. Not me, when I hear the word "Pasta", I think Yum! Can I have some more? In my opinion, pasta should be it's very own food group. Pasta is a great way to change up a recipe by switching out a few ingredients or by just adding pasta to your favorite dish or soup. In a household of both Italian and Hispanic culinary influences, getting creative with different dishes has produced a lot of simple and delicious meals. With a very busy schedule I don't always have time or energy to cook a big dinner for the family but thanks to Barilla pasta I can still provide delicious Hispanic meals in under 30 minutes.
